The Event

This is a non-competitive event with no prizes. It is a day to come out and ring steel, converse with like-minded shooters, and have fun. Good chance to stretch out a new or old rifle, or challenge your shooting and equipment.

The shooting line will be active from 8:00AM until 5:00PM, at which time a supper and refreshments will be supplied.

The Facility

A number of shooting benches are provided. Also your own benches or prone-shooting equipment are welcome. Many steel gong targets are positioned at various ranges from 250 to 1050 yards.

Shooters and spectators are reminded to bring lawn chairs and shade tents can be handy.

There Will Be Cannons…Oh, change of plans!!….Blackpowder Mortars this year….

At 2:00PM, a competition of blackpowder mortars will take place.

Camping

Unserviced camping is available on site. ( Potable water is available to fill up, if ya don’t want to haul it). Campers are welcome Friday through Monday. As well, there is a municipal campground a mile away.
